Alberto is a dynamic, results-oriented senior executive leader in global higher education. He specializes in leading transformational strategies for growth, operational excellence, and business development. For over 20 years, Alberto has leveraged business leadership and strategic management working both within universities and corporations. He has a strong proven record in successfully scaling business, navigating digital transformations and catalyzing diverse and collaborative teams to develop growth, and student-centered, market-driven solutions.

Alberto spent the first part of his career at Arizona State University where he worked as a Full Professor, Academic Chair, Dean Fellow, and President of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Senate. Following his passion to promote quality and equity in education, he worked in different senior and executive roles for Educational Testing Service in Princeton, the largest private educational assessment organization in the world.

Currently, Alberto works as Senior Vice President for Higher Education at Territorium, a global education technology company with 12 million users worldwide. During his career, he has also consulted with nonprofit organizations, corporations, financial and consulting companies like PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He has also worked and partnered with Accenture, Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), Deloitte, McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Tyton Partners, and others in the areas of strategic planning, organizational leadership and tech strategy.
